The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast will offer free adoptions on all animals for the remainder of September to help pets at the at-capacity shelter find loving homes.
Fees will be waived on the adoptions of dogs, cats, and small animals. In addition, all rabbits and guinea pigs will go home with a free enclosure while supplies last. The normal adoption fees are $130 for dogs, $50 for cats, $25 for rabbits, and $10 for guinea pigs.
The adoption locations are:
- HSTC main shelter, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave., Palm City (Dogs, cats, and small animals)
- HSTC Thrift Store Central, 2585 SE Federal Highway, Stuart (Cats only)
- HSTC Thrift Store North at 1099 NW 21st St., Stuart (Cats only)
