A woman in Blue Grass is getting ready to open a new store to help those in need. Tammy Stoffers started collecting donations a few years ago for a non-profit called the Blue Grass Community Charitable Drop Off Program. Officials from the Shady Grove Volunteer Fire Department want to build a new fire station at a location that will be beneficial to more residents, and its leader reached out to the Jones County Board of Supervisors for help with funding.
