A Laurel man who repeatedly failed to do his community service will now have to serve time in prison.

Adam Thrash, 30, was ordered to spend four years in the full-time custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and undergo long-term drug and alcohol treatment while there, according to the order signed by Judge Dal Williamson in a followup hearing in Jones County Circuit Court on Monday.
